Getting Back on Track

If your current work circumstances leave you unhappy, low on confidence and less effective and resourceful than usual, we have a deep understanding of what you might be going through, and we can help.

There are many triggers for finding yourself off-balance, including redundancy, bullying, difficult working relationships, mergers, illness, stress and overwhelm. Left unaddressed, the emotions triggered by such experiences can undermine you, distorting your view of the world, and adversely affecting your relationships with your boss, your colleagues and your loved ones, as well as compromising your health and general wellbeing.

We've developed Getting Back on Track to help you move on with less risk of long-lasting damage. It can help you get back in touch with your best self, and develop effective ways of maintaining your balance, reducing the likelihood of your being derailed in the future. Your leadership will be more confident, emotionally intelligent and compassionate.

Our Getting Back on Track coaching programme. can be tailored to your specific circumstances. We will help you recover quickly and sustainably, so that you are able to spot the signs that things are going awry and avoid a repeat in the future.

Ann has also published a self-coaching book, Getting Back on Track - regaining your confidence and presence at work. The book is widely available, and a copy is included in the Getting Back on Track coaching package.

During 2010 we will be launching a suite of downloadable audio programmes, including one to support you through the emotional effects of redundancy. Meanwhile, you can subscribe to Ann's Getting Back on Track blog and readGetting Back on Track an article first published in ReSource Magazine.

Clients say:

"I have just been made a job offer, which I am going to accept, and feel that without you getting me back from the paranoia and loss of self confidence I was developing I would not have got here." Senior Manager, Healthcare.
"Ann coached me through a very stressful time; I was only capable of reacting and Ann helped me to take charge of my career again, and to focus on my goals and values. The fact that I came through it successfully is a testament to her skills. To have someone to turn to, who has no agenda other than one's own best interests was liberating." KP, Marketing Director.
(In a bullying environment) "… I felt very trapped and my usual approach to life i.e. making plans and taking action seemed to drift away from me… Ann helped me realise that I was trying to change myself to fit into the style of the organisation and the misery I was feeling was related to not being true to myself and my values. (Now) I think I would spot the signs a lot earlier and get out of the situation without worrying so much about what people would think of me." RH, HR Director.
"(When I came to coaching) I had about nine months of managing a series of extremely difficult situations at work... Whilst I was portraying a very capable, strong and efficient face in dealing with various issues, I was experiencing a very different reality...Over a period of five months, I was able to start thinking more objectively, take control of an increasingly 'out of control' situation, and gradually rebuild my confidence." Charity Senior Manager.
"Having an objective perspective on the problems, and separating my emotional response from my professional anxiety were really important." Charity Service Head.
